copying blocks

I saw a painting like this in a catalog, so decided to do a colorful page in my journal, capturing the same feel.

The original was a large oil, in a variation of these colors and block placement.

Acrylic in the journal.

Yes to Carrots

I love this hand lotion. It comes in a tube and doesn't leave your skin needing more and more.

As a random filler in the journal, I pasted in the logo from the box, then painted a carrot. The Daniel Smith orange matches the color exactly!

pulling out the rubber stamps

I have boxes of rubber stamps from art projects 15 years ago, so I'm pulling them out again.

Acrylic first, the red smears. It acted as a resist on this non-sized paper. Then w/c and stamp pad ink.
