feet on orange chair
One of the last warmish days on the deck.
All the colors are invented.
I started with colored Sarasa 0.7 mm ballpoints, acrylic paint added. In the journal.

painted knee
I idly sketched my feet on the back of the cover of the Strathmore drawing pad--it's pebbly.
By the time I was done painting in (random colors), I liked the surface enough to post this.
Gray pen and w/c.

socks in sandals
I am never happy with slippers--too soft, can't step outside for the mail in NH weather. So I wear thick Thorlo socks in slip-on sandals. And if I have to drive somewhere I may not have to change my shoes.
And I don't even own a pair of white socks, so the horror of socks in sandals does not apply (I claim). These sandals are actually black leather, I just didn't color them in.
Hard charcoal pencil on 70# paper.

feet collage
I used one of my simple line drawings of feet as an element on a collaged page in the journal.
I like how cartoony the feet turned out.
With acrylic paint. It works so well on unsized paper like this.
