Leftover paint

What do you do with the last bit of paint from a painting session? Trying a new triad of Sennelier quinacridone gold and quin red, plus W/N indigo, I finished up with freehand spirals. It's a rather strange but intriguing palette.

They look very good.

I like this palette--very fall-like.

Hmmm.. I like this palette, too! You're right about the Sennelier quin gold being so much different than Daniel Smith -- I always think it looks more "old gold". Winsor Newton's quin gold is more like DS, if you ever need to know that in a pinch, by the way!

This is such a great palette of colors and just in time for fall. This would also make a wonderful print for material or a pattern on plates.
