On a background of tiny type

I started with a stamped background in a Moleskine sketchbook, then added a scene around a drawing of my left hand. Breaking the surface with the stamp seemed to help the w/c flow more easily.

Very nice Nita - great idea for journaling. I can see using old letters, dictionary pages, etc. for a background.

Hey Nita--really like this one and how the background works with the painting. Very nice. . .

This looks great! The background really adds a nice touch to the overall drawing. You said 'stamped' background. How was it done exactly? I think it is so cool!
