I watched a "How to Paint with Acrylics" DVD by a Scottish painter, Frank Clarke. Very generic, but I was absurdly pleased with the result.
Paint fast with a big brush and it will be ok, is his general motto. I was amazed at how the various terrain textures worked out here with that method!
Acrylic on a canvas panel. The painting is 11x14. This is the majority of the portion that fit on the scanner.
