look behind you

For once I found a way to draw the backs of people, while the seagull pondered his next move.

We went into the old library in Ogunquit, built in 1896. I found this grandfather clock with interesting symbols on the front.

Down the sides of the door were tool shapes, stencilled in silver. The hourglass shape was on the center top of the door. (Click to enlarge.)

At the very top was the compass and square symbol, related to the Masons.

A very spikey pine tree outside our door.

I liked the little sprouts of spikes that showed along the sides of the trunk.

High tide means less rock, more water.
