Pencil, new and unsmudged
Finding the old carafe drawing briefly sent me back to do something with pencil. A little silk bag on a pocket Moleskine. I'm restraining myself from adding color.
Palomino pencils, HB and 2B, on Strathmore drawing paper.
This came out so nice. I totally understand the color thing---I usually can't help myself and tend to want my watercolors after I sketch out something. Great job!
Nita, I love the pencilness of this sketch but I also understand your need for color. I am the same way.
ReplyDeleteNita this is great. I really like pencil sketches and sometimes I think adding colour spoils them. This one is lovely just the way it is.
